  • Do you know:

    - your GPA, ACT, SAT?

    - your favorite subject in school?

    - your preferred learning method?

    - Your max throwing velocity?

    - Your typical and max ball spin rate and spin efficiency?

    - The above for each type of pitch?

    - The vertical and horizontal break for each type of pitch?

    -      Your  number of effective pitches.

    - Your max and average exit velocity off of the bat?

    - Your average and distribution of launch angles off of the bat?

    - the above in each strike zone?

    - Your percentage of line drives, ground balls and fly balls?

    - Your time from home to 2nd?

    - Your time in a 5-10-5 shuttle?

  • Why is this important?

Baseball has changed in the last 10 years.  Baseball has moved from scouts traveling around and taking notes on players and watching games, to a much more analytical evaluation.  For example, you hit 475 foot line drives routinely, so you walk onto a professional try out field and can not run a 60 yard dash under 7.0 seconds, you will probably not even get a chance to hit a ball.  You will be cut in the first round.  So knowing that your 60 yard dash could hold you back, then we focus on what needs to change to accomplish your goal.

Everyone who goes on a trip or journey has to start somewhere and they have a destination in mind.  Playing a sport is no different.  Some players want to play for fun, some want to play in college and some want to play professionally.  No matter the reason, we need a starting point, followed by stops along the way to check our progress and finally successfully reaching our destination.  If you do not know where you are starting, then how do you know if you are making progress?  The next concern is, if you need to be somewhere at a certain time are you progressing at the pace required or to your satisfaction.  Did you take a wrong turn somewhere and are either lost or took the long way around.

Baseball Moves will help you on your journey.  We can tell you where your start point is.  With timely stops or check-ins we will let you know how you are progressing and if you are on time for your planned destination.

Plus we make certain you “Know Your Numbers”, so that you can communicate with recruiters with confidence knowing you have professionals using professional grade equipment supporting every number you provide.

    - What are your goals for your sport?

          achieve your goals.
